A liquid substance, made by some researchers from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with the help of nanotechnology, has the propriety of stopping bleedings almost immediately.

This substance will be first introduced in the operation rooms, where it will be used during the surgical interventions for stopping the bleedings. It will be used in a large gamma of operations like the ones on the brains, heart and prostate, explained Floyd Loop, a consultant for Arch Therapeutics and the director of the Clinic in Cleveland, one of the best hospitals in the world.
“I’ve never seen something similar” added Loop, saying that beside helping the result of an operation, the substance will lower the need of transfusions and will reduce the risk of an infection.

The product of the people from Arch Therapeutics will be included in the first aid kits, to be used in case of an emergency of military conflicts. The advantage of this substance it’s that it expires after a long time. More than this, it can be easily assimilated by the human organism.
