Ice found on Mars - proof available!

21 June 2008 8:58

ice-on-mars.jpgDuring a digging operation in the Martian dirt, Phoenix exposed what the experts say, some ice fragments.

The ice fragments initial photographed in the furrow that was dugg by Phoenix disappeared after a while, most probably because of evaporation, said the physician Peter Smith, from Tucson University, Arizona.

“That tiny fragments of ice completely disappeared after some days, this being a perfect proof that we found ice. There were some voices who said that we found salt. Well, salt does not evaporate”, continued Smith.
