Security and Palm-Reading devices
Do you remember the times when we used to spend money on so called Palm-Reading devices that were predicting us the future? Well, after a while, these palm-reading things became a great security device.
The system is called PalmSecure, it is a biometric security device developed by Fujitsu. PalmSecure works by matching the vein pattern of a person seeking for access. It looks in the database and sees if the pattern recorded matches or not. If it does, then the access is granted.
The most common biometric security devices are the ones that require your fingerprint to have access but these are a lot more expensive and harder to manage. Fingerprints can be faked but a palm is harder to reproduce or maybe impossible because the system requires blood to be flowing so this security measure may be introduced in every little house soon.
